Inflammation is at the root of more disease than most people realize.
The Inflammatory Disease Research Foundation funds the research moving us toward better answers and helps people living with inflammatory disease cover what insurance won’t.
What We Do
We work on two parallel fronts.

Research grants
for scientists, clinicians, and institutions investigating the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of inflammation-based disease.

Individual assistance
for people with an inflammatory diagnosis today — reimbursing out-of-pocket costs for medical equipment and supplies that insurance has denied.

Where we focus
Five categories of inflammatory and inflammation-driven disease:

Cancer

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease

Psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions

Arthritis and inflammatory joint disease

Inflammatory and immune-mediated gastrointestinal disease

Our work so far
Since resuming active operations in 2025, the Foundation has contributed $8,000 in research support to Cancer of Many Colors and provided direct assistance to two individuals whose insurance had denied coverage of necessary medical expenses.
We are a small foundation. Every dollar raised has a direct, traceable destination.
